Title:
GAS COOKER WITH GRILL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3693197
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts without spoiling the indicating performance of the replacing timing of a battery as well as the ignition of a grill and contrive the reduction of a cost by a method wherein an indicator, indicating the replacing timing of a dry battery, is used both for the indication of ignition of an ignition detecting means while the detection of ignition is indicated by an indicating manner, different from the indication of replacing timing of battery.
SOLUTION: When an igniting button is pushed, gas flows through a grill burner and, simultaneously, a switch is put on to ignite gas. An ignition indicating routine is started in synchronized with the putting on of the switch. At first, the output voltage Vx of a thermocouple is read (S1) to judge the output voltage Vx whether it is lower than a preset voltage Vs or not (S2). When Vx>Vs, an LED is excited to indicate through lighting (S3). When a user pushes the ignition button again, the switch is put off (S5), combustion is finished (fire is extinguished) and the LED is extinguished. On the other hand, the indicator indicates not only a condition that the grill is being used but also a timing whereat the ignition button is released upon ignition whereby the failure of ignition due to too early releasing of hand can be prevented.
