Abstract:
A gas cylinder having an original position return function is disclosed. In a gas cylinder which includes a base tube, a spindle, a cylinder, a piston rod, an upper cam member, and a lower cam member, the cylinder comprises a through hole passing through the interior of a valve body inserted so as to seal the upper side of the same, and an orifice communicating with the through hole, wherein an opening and closing pin is installed in the through hole so that the gas of the interior of the upper chamber flows into the lower chamber through the orifice and a gas flow path formed between the spindle and the cylinder, and an opening and closing member is installed at a lower side of the opening and closing pin, and said opening and closing member is opened by the pressure of the gas inputted from the orifice when the load of the axial direction applied to the spindle is removed and allows the gas to flow from the lover chamber to the upper chamber, so that the spindle is fixed at a certain final position.
