Abstract:
To accurately determine a gas kind by a neutral net while accurately determining the concn. of gas by multiple regression analysis.
A sine wave is applied to the heater 6 of a gas sensor 2 and the signal waveform of the sensor 2 is subjected to Fourier transform. The obtained Fourier series is inputted to a neutral net 22 to determine a gas kind and the concn. of gas is determined on the basis of the regression coefficient calculated by the multiple regression analysis from the Fourier series to the concn. of gas with respect to the determined gas kind.
