Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector which is reduced in size and weight and which can be safely handled.SOLUTION: A gas sensor 10 includes a solid electrolyte membrane 12, and first and second electrodes 14, 16 in between which the solid electrolyte membrane 12 is placed. A gas detector 30 includes: a circuit board 32; a sensor holding member 34 for mounting the gas sensor 10 on the circuit board 32; a detection circuit mounted on the circuit board 32; and a power source (battery) 36 driving the detection circuit. The gas sensor 10 and the battery 36 are held on different surfaces of the circuit board 32.
