Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately measure the concentration of gas to be detected at the measuring site where exhaust gas flows by providing a reference gas pressure set communicating tube for communicating with a dilute space between a reference gas pressure space and the dilute space.
CONSTITUTION: A gas detecting chamber 110 and a dilute space 7 are formed at the periphery of the chamber 110, a dilute gas chamber 111 in which the volume is larger than the chamber 110 is provided, and the chamber 110 communicates with the chamber 111 via a second through hole 6a. The space in the chamber 111 communicates with a reference gas pressure space 108 via a reference gas pressure set communicating tube 107. Accordingly, the internal pressure of the space 4 can be set substantially the same as the space 108, and the characteristics of a gas detector 1 is sufficiently utilized to be detected.
