Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas engine that can prevent surging of a compressor.SOLUTION: The gas engine 100 includes: a supercharger; a throttle valve 24 for regulating a supply air flow rate; and an ECU 50 for controlling a throttle opening rate D of the throttle valve 24. The ECU 50 reduces the throttle opening rate D toward a target throttle opening rate Dm step by step when reducing the throttle opening rate D to the target throttle opening rate Dm, and allows the throttle opening rate D to reach the target throttle opening rate Dm immediately when a supply air manifold pressure Pi decreases to a predetermined pressure or less.
