Abstract:
To provide a gas exchange device which uniformly fills a head space with an exchange gas and ensures high gas exchange efficiency.
The gas exchange device for a can exchanges air in the head space of a can 2 filled with contents with exchange gas right before a can lid is rimmed. The device comprises a gas turret 1 having arcuate recesses 3, gas supply parts 4 provided in the gas turret 1, a branching body 6 provided for branching the gas supply passage 5 of the gas supply part 4, and current plates 8 disposed in the injection ports 7 of the gas supply passages 4.
