Abstract:
To provide a gas exhaust valve for adjusting the pressure in an electrolyte tank almost constant by exhausting gas in the electrolyte tank without deteriorating the performance of an electrolyte.
A gas exhaust valve is provided with a piping section 1 with one end section installed in an electrolyte tank and a container section 2 connected with the piping section 1. A water-repellent porous membrane 3 is provided on a connecting section for connecting the container section 2 with the piping section 1. Water 4 is stored on the upper face of the water-repellent porous membrane 3. A nonvolatile flowing paraffin layer 5 is formed on the upper face of the water 4.
