The gas feeding structure is formed on a part of an electrode (1) on the bottom of the DC electric furnace. The gas feeding structure is provided with a plurality of electrode bars (3) formed on an electrode base (5) on the bottom of the furnace, a gas pool (8) enclosed with a metal plate (6) and filled with a permeable refractory material (9) therein, a gas introducing pipe (10) disposed in the lower part of the gas pool, and columnar tuyere brick (4) constituted around a plurality of electrode bars protruding upward from the gas pool and split plurality. A plurality of protrusions are formed on the tuyere brick at least at a portion thereof to provide a gas feeding inlet.
