Title:
GAS FLAME ADJUSTING MAT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5680636
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To distribute gas flame uniformly and to prevent contamination of a gas nozzle and the surface of a combusting apparatus, by making a disk with stainless steel or aluminum, and forming a proper number of small holes in the disk.

CONSTITUTION: A disk 1 having a diameter not larger than about 23cm is made of stainless steel or aluminum, and small holes 2 having diameters of about 3W4mm are formed in the disk 1 along circular arrays having radii of about 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10cm at positions thereof divided equally into 4, 8, 4, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16 and 32pts, respectively. Further, these holes 2 are positioned in a zigzagged manner to each other. By use of such a mat, the disk 1 can be heated uniformly with medium gas flame after once heating the same with the strongest flame. Therefore, it is enabled to reduce consumption of gas and to prevent contmination of the apparatus by the residue of combustion, stock or the like.
