Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generating agent composition capable of increasing the purification degree of exhaust gas and being excellent in extrusion moldability and heat resistance.SOLUTION: A gas generating agent composition contains guanidine nitrate as a fuel (A), a basic metal nitrate as an oxidant (B), and a carboxymethyl cellulose salt as a binder (C). The viscosity of 1% (w/w) aqueous solution of the carboxymethyl cellulose salt is 1,000 mPa s or more when measured by a B-type viscometer at 25°C. The gas generating agent composition further contains a combustion modifier (D), and the content of the combustion modifier (D) is 4-10 mass%.EFFECT: The gas generating agent composition can reduce the concentrations of carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas.SELECTED DRAWING: None
