Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator for a multistage expansion air bag in which an internal structure of a housing is improved.
SOLUTION: In the gas generator for multistage expansion air bag, a plurality of combustion chambers 50, 60 are installed in a cylindrical housing 3, at least one of them or a combustion chamber 60 is installed inside an inner shell 4 arranged eccentrically for a center shaft of the housing 3, and ignition means 51, 61 arranging at each combustion chamber are also arranged eccentrically for the center shaft of the housing.
