Abstract:
CONSTITUTION: A gas generator 10 includes a cylinder 12 having a bottom 14 and an opening 16 at an upper end. In the cylinder 12, a movable seal 32 for partitioning a first chamber 42 having a gas generating agent 46 provided on a bottom 14 and a second chamber 44 storing a reaction liquid 48 above the first chamber, and a piston head 34 blocking the opening 16 of the second chamber are arranged. A bypass 22 is formed in the first chamber, and a bypass 24 is formed in the second chamber. In an initial state, the bypasses 22 and 24 are unopened. When pressing down a pressing-in rod 36 and dropping the piston head 34, the movable seal 32 also drops, the bypass 22 is opened, and the reaction liquid comes in contact with and reacts with the gas generating agent in the first chamber. When further pressing down the piston head, the bypass 24 is opened, and the gas generated in the first chamber 42 passes through the bypasses 22 and 24, and flows out from the opening.EFFECT: To generate gas with a simple structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
