Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VOC-containing gas generating method assuming use on a laboratory scale and being capable of adjusting a concentration of a VOC in VOC-containing gas by a simple method and of continuously supplying the VOC-containing gas, and further to provide a VOC-containing gas generator.SOLUTION: A gas generating method generates VOC-containing gas having a constant concentration. In a gas generating method continuously generating the VOC-containing gas by supplying base gas with a constant flow rate into a gas generation section accommodating a first liquid VOC with specified quantity and bringing the base gas into contact with the first liquid VOC, a second liquid VOC communicating with the first liquid VOC in the gas generation section exists in a storage section, and a liquid level of the first liquid VOC is at a position lower than a liquid level of the second liquid VOC. The gas generating method maintains a liquid level height of the first liquid VOC to be constant by adjusting a liquid level height of the second liquid VOC in the storage section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
