Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator capable of maintaining high sealing performance of a gas generating agent with a simple configuration, thereby obtaining a desired gas output.SOLUTION: A gas generator 1 comprises a housing 10 and a sealed container 70 storing a gas generating agent. The sealed container 70 has a cup body 71 and a cover body 72, and the cover body 72 includes a bottom part 72a and a roll-in part 72b covering an opening end 71b1 of the cup body 71. By providing a first caulking part 72b1 and a second caulking part 72b2 in a portion corresponding to a side wall part 71b of the cup body 71 of a portion that defines a gas generating agent accommodating chamber S1A at a position adjacent to the bottom part 72a and in a portion opposed to the roll-in part 72b of a portion covering an inner peripheral surface of the open end of the cup body 71, in the roll-in part 72b of a portion covering an outer peripheral surface of the opening end 71b1 of the cup body 71, the cover body 72 is fixed to the cup body 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
