To provide a gas-liquid contacting mechanism capable of improving the pressure loss without generation of unevenness in the gas-liquid contact owing to a deviated flow caused by a wall stream in a device to perform a substance movement etc. and removing sputter and blowing-up of liquid drops without generating unevenness in the gas-liquid contact.
A plurality of string-shaped filler constituent elements 5 to constitute regular fillers 5 to partition a number of passages between a liquid distributor 2 installed in the upper part of the device and a liquid collector 3 installed in the lower part of the device are extended in the vertical direction parallel to one another in the non-contacting condition with the device inner walls and the adjoining filler constituent elements, and the constitution is furnished with a plurality of string-shaped adapters 4 to couple the liquid distributor 2 with the regular fillers 5 and supply the liquid from the liquid distributor 2 to the regular fillers 5 and a plurality of string-shaped collectors 7 to couple the liquid collector 3 with the regular fillers 5 and supply the liquid from the regular fillers 5 to the liquid collector 3. The adapters 4, the filler constituent elements 6, and the collectors 7 are formed in a single piece.
