Abstract:

To prevent incapability of controlling the amount of blast air and simultaneously development of engine trouble caused by failure in an air injection valve, etc.

Pressure of blast air is detected by mean of a pressure sensor 160. When abnormality in the amount of blast are is determined, a fuel injection valve is controlled in accordance with a second program (reducing blast fuel comparing with a first program) different from the first program (program under normal condition). Thus, the operation state of an engine 200 is appropriately controlled even if abnormality in the amount of the blast air is determined, constantly, appropriately controlling engine 200 operation.
