Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of separating oil by dripping down oil soaked in a bottom plate from an extracting window in the form of relatively large oil drop after oil in blow-by gas is separated and collected to soak into a vertical wall plate and the bottom plate made of a porous permeability body provided in a gas-liquid separating chamber. CONSTITUTION:Blow-by gas entering a gas-liquid separating chamber 6 from a blow-by gas inlet 8 makes contact with a bottom plate 9 and first and second vertical wall plates 10, 11 made of a porous permeability body provided in the gas-liquid separating chamber 6 so that oil mixed in the blow-by gas soaks in and is adsorbed to the bottom plate 9 and vertical wall plates 10, 11, and then flows out of a blow-by gas extracting port 7. The oil adsorbed to soak into the respective vertical wall plates 10, 11 is shifted to soak into the bottom plate 9 by the gravity. Since a portion of the bottom plate 9 is exposed into an extracting window 12 provided in a bottom face plate 5 of a case 3, the oil soaking into the bottom plate 9 is collected to the portion exposed into the extracting window 12 by the gravity to be dripped down in the form of relatively large drops.
