PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separator having a liquid discharge valve with which liquid is not carried away to an outlet.SOLUTION: A revolving vane 12 is arranged in an annual space 11 which is formed by casings 1, 2, 3 and an exhaust pipe 10. An upper part of the annual space 11 is connected with an inlet 4 and an upper part of the exhaust pipe 10 is connected through the hole inside thereof with an outlet 5. A revolving chamber 14 is formed below a lower part of the annual space 11, a liquid discharge valve chamber 15 is formed below the revolving chamber 14, and a liquid discharge valve including a hollow spherical shaped valve float 16 which floats up/lowers according to liquid level to open/close a liquid discharge valve port 8 is arranged in the liquid discharge valve chamber 15. The valve float 16 floats up/lowers according to the liquid level to open/close the liquid discharge valve port 8 so that only liquid is discharged from a liquid discharge port 6 to the outside of the system. Inlet liquid level detection means 21 is arranged at the inlet 4 to detect the liquid level of the inlet 4. An opening/closing valve 25 is arranged at a second liquid discharge port 24 to perform an opening/closing control on the basis of signal from the inlet liquid level detection means 21.
