To provide a small-sized gas-liquid separator having high gas-liquid separating efficiency.
In the gas-liquid separator having a first flow passage 11 and a second flow passage 12, a vertical upper end part of the first flow passage 11 and a vertical upper end part of the second flow passage 12 are connected at an upper connection part 13, and a vertical lower end part of the first flow passage 11 and a vertical lower end part of the second flow passage 12 are connected at a lower connection part 14. A loop-shaped flow passage is formed of the first flow passage 11, the second flow passage 12, the upper connection part 13, and the lower connection part 14. A fluid inflow passage 15 which fluid in a gas-liquid two phase state flows in is connected to a middle part of the first flow passage 11, a steam outflow passage 16 from which fluid in a gas phase state flows out is connected to the uppermost part of the upper connection part 13, and a liquid outflow passage 17 from which fluid in a liquid phase state flows out is connected to the lowermost part of the lower connection part 14.
