Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separator for an injection type refrigeration cycle for centrifugal separation of refrigerant under application of swirl flow so as to restrict a flowing-out of gaseous phase refrigerant at a flowing-out port of liquid phase refrigerant.SOLUTION: A swirl flow restricting plate extending from a lower end side in a vertical direction in a gas-liquid separator 11 toward an upper side in a vertical direction is arranged just above a first flowing-out port 13A. With this arrangement, it is restricted that liquid phase refrigerant centrifugally separated by the swirl flow restricting plate 16 is swirled. Then, all a plurality of spaces partitioned by the swirl flow restricting plate 16 are communicated directly with the first flowing-out port 13A. Accordingly, since it is hard to produce a difference in flow speed at refrigerant flowing toward the first flowing-out port 13A, it is a rare possibility that a new swirl flow is induced and it becomes possible to restrict positively a swirl of the liquid phase refrigerant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
