Abstract:
To provide a gas meter that is advantageous for quickly grasping the damage caused by an earthquake when the earthquake occurs in an area where the gas meter is installed.SOLUTION: A gas meter 10 includes: an acceleration sensor 18 that measures an acceleration value; a control unit 16 that obtains history data at the time of the earthquake occurrence on the basis of the acceleration value; a map data extraction unit 16a that extracts map data from the history data; a history data storage area 20a that stores the history data; a map data storage area 20b that stores the map data; and a communication unit 24 that communicates with the outside regarding transmission of the map data. The history data includes maximum seismic intensity data, seismic intensity data obtained for each earthquake, and inclination data of the gas meter 10. The map data includes maximum seismic intensity data and inclination data in an earthquake for which the maximum seismic intensity data is obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
