Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter and a method for inspecting a gas meter, capable of shortening inspection time and flexibly corresponding with various assays and inspections.
SOLUTION: Instrumental error inspection for an inspected gas meter 1 is performed by comparing the amount of passing gas calculated based on at least one of values outputted as inspection signals when the gas is caused to flow by an amount serving as reference over a specified inspection time with the amount of passing gas by means of a measurement standard. Further, on the gas meter 1 side, an integrated value for inspection is generated based on a value outputted as an inspection signal and is outputted as response from the gas meter 1 side.
