Abstract:
To provide a gas meter capable of suppressing noise vibration propagating to an acceleration sensor via a gas piping and a meter housing in a seismic function using the acceleration sensor.SOLUTION: A meter controller 3 including a seismic unit is fixed to a meter housing 50 via a vibration-proof member 52. The seismic unit determines earthquake or noise with an acceleration value detected by an acceleration sensor 31 as a starting point after a gas meter switches from a standby mode to a measurement mode. A gas piping and a meter housing 50 are propagated, and noise vibration propagating to the acceleration sensor 31 is absorbed and reduced by the vibration-proof member 52, so the frequency of shifting to the measurement mode due to noise vibration other than earthquake is reduced.
