Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a flow rate correctly corresponding to a flammable gas by using an operation rule corresponding to the air until a gas flow measurement function is inspected and using an operation rule corresponding to a gas flow when the gas flow of a different kind is measured.
SOLUTION: A heat flow rate-detecting means 101 outputs an electric signal corresponding to a change of a thermal state based on a gas flow, a gas flow rate-operating means 102 operates a gas flow rate corresponding to the signal, and a gas flow rate-integrating means 103 integrates the gas flow rates. An operation rule-holding means 201 of the gas flow rate-operating means 102 holds a plurality of operation rules corresponding to a plurality of gas kinds including the air. The operation rule corresponding to the air as the gas kind is used until a gas flow measurement function is inspected before the gas meter is shipped from a factory. When a flow of a gas different from the air is to be measured, the operation rule corresponding to the gas kind is used. An operation rule-switching means switches the rules. For instance, LPG gas or the like flammable gas can be calculated by the operation rule correctly corresponding thereto in actual use.
