Abstract:
To allow for easily and accurately detecting contamination by air.SOLUTION: A gas meter comprises a gas flow channel, a flow rate sensor for sensing the flow rate of an inflammable gas flowing through the gas flow channel, and an oxygen sensor for sensing oxygen concentration in the gas flow channel, and is configured to give an external notification when the oxygen concentration sensed by the oxygen sensor becomes less than a predetermined first threshold. Contamination by air is easily and accurately detected by the oxygen sensor, which makes it possible to efficiently complete an air purging process at appropriate time when air has been removed regardless of a piping capacity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
