Title:
GAS-OPERATED PREMIXING BURNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06193841
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stably hold flame, perform lean combustion in the vicinity of a quenching limit and suppress the generation of NOx by making the fuel concentration in the region of a burner axis at the outlet of the burner greater than the average fuel concentration at a burner outlet plane.

CONSTITUTION: A burner is formed with a plurality of conical hollow partial bodies 11 12. These bodies are superposed inside and outside in the direction of a flow and their axes shift from each other. A premixing chamber 21 is defined therebetween. Both the bodies 11 and 12 are respectively provided with a plurality of fuel injection nozzles 17. They are connected to a collecting pipeline 18 and to a supply pipeline 19 which has control valves 20. To both the conical tops of the partial bodies 11 and 12, each fuel nozzles 23 is attached. The fuel nozzles 23 are connected to a fuel pipeline 24 provided with control valves 25. Then, the control valves 20 and 25 are controlled, and the fuel concentration in the region 10 of a burner axis is made greater than the average fuel concentration at a burner outlet 23.
