To provide a gas permeable bag for packaging rice or the like, which can be deaerated easily to eliminate air sealed in the bag upon filling it with contents.
The bag is made of a laminated film having a base material layer and a thermoadhesive resin layer, and is formed into a rectangular shape via a peripheral thermal adhesion part. At least the portion of the thermal adhesion part that forms one side of the rectangular bag is a gas permeable thermal adhesion part consisting of a non-thermal adhesion part and a thermal adhesion part, and one or a plurality of linear projections of 0.5-3.0 mm wide and 0.1-1.5 mm high are formed in one of the layer of the laminated film on the non-thermal adhesion part to project inward in perpendicular to the gas permeable thermal adhesion part.
