Abstract:

To obtain a gas proofing cover which is usable for a buried wiring device to be fitted into a round fitting hole.

The gas proofing cover 10 is used for a buried wiring device which contains buried wiring accessories 11, the body 12 to be fitted to the wiring accessories 11, and a round fitting hole H1 bored in a wall surface, and a panel cover 13 which covers the buried side of the wiring accessories 11 to be fitted to the body 12. This proofing cover 10 has a box-shaped cover body 101 which covers the whole buried side of the buried wiring device, and a flange 102 formed integrally at a circumferential brim of an opening of the cover body 101. In the cover body 101, hole boring portions which are for boring a hole for performing wiring of a cable W from the fitting hole H1 to the wiring accessories 11 and have ductility, are formed.
