Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas pump having an increased gas flow capable of being substantially and effectively treated by solid electrolytic cylindrical bodies with proper diameters.
SOLUTION: A plurality of circular solid electrolytic cylindrical bodies 10a, 10b having different diameters are concentrically combined so as to make respective center lines almost horizontal and form a double cylindrical structure, and hollow caps are put on at both ends of the cylindrical bodies, respectively. A ring-shaped heater 40 is installed concentrically around the solid electrolytic cylindrical body 10b with a larger diameter. The two pieces solid electrolytic cylindrical bodies, inner and outer, 10a, 10b, have electrodes at both faces, inner and outer, respectively. A gas G1 to be treated is flown in an axial direction in a primary flow path Ma between the solid electrolytic cylindrical bodies 10a, 10b. In secondary spaces Na, Nb, viz. the inner space of the inner solid electrolytic cylindrical body 10a and the outer space of the outer solid electrolytic cylindrical body 10b, a secondary gas G2 based on the treatment of the gas G1 to be treated is flown in an axial direction.
