To provide a gas shut-off device capable of shutting off a gas by detecting infiltration of water, or the like, into a flow channel or a control part in the device.
The gas shut-off device includes an amplification degree determining means 18 for determining a signal amplification degree of a flow rate detection means 8 performing flow rate detection with propagation velocity of an ultrasonic wave between vibrators 6, 7 disposed along the flow channel 4; a propagation time determination means 20 for determining the propagation time; a measurement condition setting means 16 changing a measurement condition; a flow channel inside abnormality determination means 22 for estimating water intrusion in the flow channel, when an abnormally short propagation time is detected at the amplification degree equal to or less than a lower limit determination value; a clocking means 23, activated when the amplification degree of an upper limit determination value or more is determined; a measurement ratio calculation means 24 for obtaining a ratio set at the maximum measurement condition during the clocking; an impedance estimation means 25 for estimating the abnormality of impedance between terminals of the flow rate detection means 8, when it is determined that the amplification degree is equal to or more than the upper limit determination value and the measurement ratio is equal to or more than a prescribed value; and a shut-off means 27 for shutting off the supply of gas at abnormality.
