Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous shut-off caused by measurement abnormality monitoring in ultrasonic flowmeter measurement.SOLUTION: A gas shut-off device comprises an upstream-side transceiver 16 and a downstream-side transceiver 17 which are disposed along a flow of a flow passage, transmission means for driving the transceivers 16, 17, switching means 18 for switching transmission/reception of the transceivers 16, 17, receiving means 20 for receiving ultrasonic waves, signal detection control means 22 for controlling detection start of a receiving signal, amplitude determination means 23 which determines an amplitude is equal to or more than a predetermined ultrasonic signal level, propagation time measuring means 24 which measures a time from driving start in the transmission means 19 to signal detection in the amplitude determination means 23, flow computing means 25 which computes an instantaneous flow value from a measurement of the propagation time measuring means 24, flow change determination means 26 which determines the presence/absence of flow fluctuation equal to or more than a predetermined value from the flow computed by the flow computing means 25, and signal detection computing means 27 which computes the time to make earlier the signal detection start in the signal detection control means 22 when the change equal to or more than the predetermined flow is detected by the flow change determination means 26.
