Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-solid contact device capable of achieving an efficient contact with a gas by effectively using a granular matter in an interior of a hopper and suppressing a channeling while lowering pressure loss of the gas.
SOLUTION: A gas introduction louver 9 is provided in a pyramid-like peripheral wall 4a of a hopper 4 for conveying a granular matter S downwards and a gas G is made to flow upwards in an interior from outside of the hopper 4. An angle formed by vane 9a constituting a louver 9 with respect to a horizontal plane is larger than an angle of repose of the granular matter S. A granular matter retainer table 6 for temporarily placing and retaining the granular matter S discharged from the hopper 4 is provided.
