Abstract:

To provide a gas storage power station which reduces a cost for setting a special turbine.

In the gas storage power station (1) having a turbine group (3) and a compressor group (4), the turbine group (3) has at least one or more turbines (5 and 6) and one generator (10). The generator (10) outputs the power directly to a main load (11) during a normal operation for the turbine group (3). The compressor group (4) has at least one compressor (12) and one electric motor (15). The gas storage power station (1) has a power consumption device (20) to be operated to consume the power of the turbine and/or the generator.
