Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and usability of a gas stove having a heating power limiting function of a burner.SOLUTION: A gas stove 1 includes: a burner 2 for heating a cooking container P placed on a predetermined heating position 12 of a stove body 10; a heating power control section 15 for controlling heating power of the burner 2; a pan detection sensor 35 that is turned on/off depending on whether or not the cooking container P is placed on the heating position 12; an execution section of a heating power limiting function for controlling the heating power of the burner 2 to preset limited heating power when the cooking container P is not placed on the heating position 12; and a release function section for releasing the heating power limiting function when a predetermined release instruction is issued. With the heating power limiting function released, when the cooking container P is continuously placed on the heating position 12, control is performed to recover the heating power limiting function.
