Abstract:
To provide a gas cooking stove which is safe and which has good usability so that even when a user touches an operation knob disposed on a top plate during cooking or right after the completion of cooking, the user does not find it uncomfortably hot or the user gets a burn.SOLUTION: The gas cooking stove is constituted so that: (a) an operation knob 25 includes an operation knob body 35 and a holding part 36 which is fixed to the operation knob and which is held by fingers when a user operates the operation knob and which has a holding surface 36a which is touched by the fingers of the user when the user operates the operation knob; and (b) the holding part for constituting the operation knob includes a heat capacity reduction part for reducing the heat capacity of the holding part and for reducing the heat capacity transmitted to the fingers of the user from the holding surface, and a heat conduction suppression part for suppressing heat conduction to the holding surface from the operation knob and for preventing the user from feeling the heat when the user touches the holding surface with his/her fingers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
