To create an excellent combustion state by enhancing mixing efficiency of air and a combustible gas, in a gas treating device to effect combustion treatment of the combustible gas by utilizing a combustion heat.
The gas treating device comprises a burner 20 for heating; an annular combustion gas feed part 23 for injecting combustion gas downstream of the burner for heating in an inner direction; an assist air feed part 29, formed in a cylindrical shape for injecting air in an inner direction; and a combustible gas combustion part 26. Thus, the combustible gas is dispersed in high temperature atmosphere downstream of the burner 20 for heating inside the annular combustion gas feed part 23. By dispersing and feeding assist air in a direction of the combustible gas present inside the cylindrical air chamber 29 for supporting, the mixing efficiency of the combustible gas and the assist air is enhanced and excellent combustion state can be created.
