Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine combustor and its operation method capable of ensuring satisfactory low NOx even for high temperature of combustion gas following high output of the gas turbine by performing premixing by reducing diffusion combustion with high NOx production concentration to the utmost, and securely ensuring a flame due to the premixing.
SOLUTION: A gas turbine combustor is adapted such that a pilot fuel injection part 24 is formed with a first premixing combustion nozzle part 33, a diffusion combustion nozzle part 32, and a second premixing combustion nozzle part 34, and a premixing combustion chamber 36 is provided on an outlet side of the first premixing combustion nozzle part 33. Further, an operation method of the gas turbine combustor drives only with a premixing flame produced from the premixing combustion nozzle part 33 upon interruption of a load of the gas turbine.
