Abstract:

To start a gas turbine generating system with a small number of devices and by simple control, and to provide the gas turbine generating system for improving re-use of energy of exhaust gas.

As the gas turbine generating system driven by the exhaust gas exhausted from an internal combustion engine 1 consists of a first shut-off valve 7 for shutting off the exhaust gas, a second shut-off valve 6 for bypassing a flow of the exhaust gas, a third shut-off valve 8 for passing through the first shut-off valve and opening and closing the exhaust gas, a fourth shut-off valve 9, for opening and closing the flowing exhaust gas passing through the first shut-off valve 7, wherein passable gas flow rate is smaller than the third shut-off valve 8, an induction machine 4 of which rotation shaft is coaxially connected with the gas turbine 2 and a synchronous generator 3 and connected with an electric power system via a breaker 13 and a synchronous closing device 11 for monitoring an output voltage of the synchronous generator 3 and a voltage of the electric power system and synchronously closing them via a breaker 12, it is possible to start the synchronous generator 3 by a structure with the small number of devices and generate power by simple control.
