Abstract:
PURPOSE: To use cooling water effectively by using the cooling water, which has been used to after-cooled compressed air, to cool a turbine.
CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger 8 is disposed between a low-pressure compressor 1 and a high-pressure compressor 2. Compressed air is introduced from the low-pressure compressor 1 to the heat exchanger 8 to perform heat exchange with cooling water supplied from a water tank 10. The cooling water having post-cooled the compressed air is introduced to a turbine 5 to cool a nozzle guide vane or a rotor vane. Consequently, the cooling water can be used effectively.
