Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attempt an improvement in the reliability of a detector by providing a cooling chamber enclosing the bearing vibration detector.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing vibration detector 46 is provided for the bearing 36 of a gas turbine shaft 31. A cooling chamber 31 enclosing the bearing vibration detector 46 is provided and connected with a cooling fan 50 via cooling piping 53 so that the detector 46 is efficiently cooled by cooling air from the cooling fan 50. This constitution prevents the detector from being exposed to high temperature, thereby improving the reliability thereof.
