Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas valve with an inspection hole capable of fixing a handle at an inspection position.SOLUTION: A protrusion 2h is formed on an outer surface where an inspection hole 2g is opened, in a valve body 2. A cap is threaded and fixed to the protrusion 2h in a removable manner. In an upper end portion of the valve body 2, a lock member 61 is provided so as to be unrotatable and movable in a length direction of the protrusion 2h. The lock member 61 is energized toward a distal end side of the protrusion 2h by a coil spring 63. On an inner peripheral surface of the handle 4, an engaging recess 64 is formed. When the handle 4 is rotated to an inspection position, the lock member 61 is moved to the distal end side of the protrusion 2h by the coil spring 63, and a lock piece 61b of the lock member 61 enters the engaging recess 64. Thus, the handle 4 can be locked at the inspection position in an unrotatable manner.
