Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently remove gaseous carbon dioxide by providing the fluidized bed of solid basic powder in which combustion waste gas is used as the fluidizing gas in the downstream side of a combustion unit.

CONSTITUTION: The fluidized bed 4 of solid basic powder, such as NaOH powder, in which combustion waste gas is used as the fluidizing gas is provided in the downstream side of combustion unit 1. A cooling means 7 is preferably provided in this fluidized bed 4, and a water flowing pipe 7 is used for the cooling. Moreover, a dehydrating unit 2 is preferably provided, which removes water from the combustion waste gas in advance before the combustion waste gas is supplied to the fluidized bed. As a result, the gaseous carbon dioxide is efficiency removed from the combustion waste gas.
