PURPOSE: To obtain a gasket for syringes, which has well-balanced properties between rubber elasticity and sliding characteristics, by molding a thermoplastic elastomer obtd. by blending a specified hydrogenated block copolymer with paraffinic oil and a polyolefin resin and/or a polystyrene resin.

CONSTITUTION: This gasket for syringes is obtd. by molding a thermoplastic elastomer composed of 100pts.wt. hydrogenated block copolymer obtd. by hydrogenating a block copolymer composed of at least two polymer blocks A mainly composed of an arom. vinyl compd. and at least two polymer blocks B mainly composed of a conjugated diene compd., wherein at least one polymer block B is positioned at the terminal of the polymer chain, 30W300pts.wt. paraffinic oil and 10W200pts.wt. polyolefin resin and/or polystyrene resin.
