Abstract:
To provide a gasket sufficiently securing bonding power between laminated plates, and providing superior durability.
The gasket is provided with a bead plate 20, a shim plate 30, and a bead plate 21 formed with bore holes 22 surrounding combustion chambers, and laminated on each other. The bead plates 20 and 21 include embossed calking parts 61 mutually joining the plate materials. Cutout calking parts 51 are formed so as to cause slits on surfaces of the bead plates 20 and 21, and they are arranged relatively away from the bore holes 22. The embossed calking parts 61 are formed so as not to cause slits on surfaces of the shim plate 30 and the bead plate 21, and they are arranged relatively near the bore holes 22.
