To provide a gasket capable of being used in a refrigerator and the like and having superior heat insulating performance.
This gasket 101 is made of vinyl chloride, and comprises a hollow room 102 and a magnetic room 103. A magnet 104 is disposed in the magnetic room 103. A wall surface of the hollow room 102 has a cut to insert a part of a heat insulating material 105. An insertion portion 106 having a wedge shape at its tip is disposed at a lower portion of the hollow room 102. A wall surface of a cabinet 107 is formed by charging a urethane foam heat insulating material 110 between an outer case made of steel sheet and an inner case 109 made of ABS. A vacuum heat insulating material may be buried when the urethane foam heat insulating material 110 is thinned. A mounting groove 112 for inserting the insertion portion 106 and fixing the gasket 101 to a door 111 is formed on a peripheral edge portion of the door 111. Thus heat exchange between the wall surface of the hollow room 102 of the gasket 101 and the outside air can be suppressed.
