Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a gaslight mantle emitting yellowish orange light and its manufacturing method.
CONSTITUTION: Material containing zirconium and calcium as main components is supported on a mesh carrier 1 so as to manufacture a gaslight mantle. As for its manufacturing method, mesh carrier material is impregnated with the solution 3 of the material containing the zirconium and the calcium as the main componets, and is dried. Thereafter, the same is fixed to a seating ring in an organic support-capping state, and is baked so that the organic support is burnt to ashes. Thereby, beautiful yellowish orange light emission is obtainable. Further, its production process is simple so that the production cost can be reduced.
