To provide a gasoline engine with a starting fuel feeder enabling a reduction in cost by simplifying structure and reducing the number of parts and enabling an increase in working accuracy by a small working resistance.
This gasoline engine increased in low temperature startability by feeding a starting fuel to the intake passage of a carburetor in starting comprises the starting fuel feeder having a starting fuel passage for feeding the starting fuel to the intake passage and an opening/closing valve opening/closing an opening to the intake passage of the starting fuel passage so that, when an intake negative pressure in the intake passage of the engine is equal to or less than a specified value, the starting fuel in the starting fuel passage can be fed to the intake passage by opening the opening/closing valve and, when the intake negative pressure exceeds the specified value, the starting fuel passage and the intake passage are cut off by closing the opening/closing valve.
