Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rapidly pass a gate for bicycle by stabilizing a riding attitude when information on an identification medium is read in front of the gate.
CONSTITUTION: A gate path 4 is formed with a pair of right and left side gate walls 10 and 20, and card inserting halves 14 and 24 are provided in the gate walls 10 and 20 located on the right side as viewed in the direction of the gate path 4 on this side in the passing direction. When a card C is inserted into the card inserting holes 14 and 24, a flapper 5 is opened by a control means along the passing direction. Also foot rests 15 and 25 are provided under the inserting holes 14 and 24 in the gate walls 10 and 20, respectively. Because a right side foot is put on it, an attitude at the temporary stop is stabilized, the card C can be inserted and extracted accurately, and thus a passer-by can pass the gate 1 rapidly.
