Abstract:
To provide a gate collision sensing system that can sense collision of a gate during automatic opening and closing of the gate accurately and quickly, without needing a large-scale detecting system.SOLUTION: A gate collision sensing system is provided with: an acceleration sensor X1 provided in a bracket 1 of a gate driving mechanism Y that automatically opens and closes a gate A arranged on a loading platform T1 of a cargo vehicle T; a difference calculating part X2 that calculates a difference that is a degree of change of a calculated value based on a detected value by the acceleration sensor X1 during opening and closing of the gate A; and a determining part X3 that determines whether the gate A has collided with an obstacle, by comparing the difference with a predetermined difference threshold, which when the determining part X3 determines that the gate A has collided therewith, outputs a collision sensing signal showing the collision.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
